WhatsApp is introducing a pinned messages feature on the iOS platform, allowing users to highlight important or frequently referenced messages by pinning them to the top of their chats or groups. Users have control over how long a message remains pinned, with options for 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days, and the flexibility to dismiss a pinned message at any time. WhatsApp is also working on an alternate profile feature to enhance privacy, enabling users to set different profile photos and names for contacts who can’t see their primary profile information.
