Wilko shops set to return to the High Street before Christmas.

CDS Superstores, which owns The Range, has announced plans to reopen Wilko stores on High Streets. The move comes after the brand was acquired in a £5 million deal, following its struggles to compete with other discount retailers. The plan is to open up to five Wilko-branded shops before Christmas, with two leases already signed for High Street locations in Devon. While retail patterns have shifted towards larger retail parks, CDS Superstores aims to serve shoppers without cars in local communities.
