Nicole Patel has joined W.J. Palmisano as the chief people officer. In this role, Patel will oversee various aspects of the company, including human resources, employee experience, marketing, and communications. W.J. Palmisano’s brands include Impetus, RNGD, WJP Properties, the Palmisano Foundation, and Renegade Academy. Nicole Patel brings over two decades of human resources leadership experience to her new position. She previously served as the Chief People Officer at Lucid Holdings Inc. and held human resources leadership roles at organizations such as Kingsley House (now Clover New Orleans), Neuberger Berman, and Lehman Brothers.
Laura Redmond has been promoted to Senior Media Planner/Buyer at Zehnder Communications. She joined Zehnder in 2018 as a Media Coordinator and has progressed in her roles, becoming a Junior Media Planner/Buyer in 2019 and a Media Planner/Buyer in 2021.
Katherine L. DeBlanc and John W. Myles have joined Stone Pigman Walther Wittmann as associates in its New Orleans office. DeBlanc will primarily handle trusts and estates projects, including drafting wills, acts of donations, and powers of attorney. John Myles will focus his practice on corporate law and real estate transactions.
In Baton Rouge, Dr. Robert Dubin has joined the faculty of Pennington Biomedical Research Center as an Associate Professor-Research in Clinical Science. Dr. Dubin plans to develop a research program related to endocrinology and metabolism.
Crystal Williams has been named Chief Operating Officer for the Cardiovascular Institute of the South. She has over 30 years of healthcare management experience and previously served as the Executive Vice President of Practice Management for the Bayou Region at CIS. She earned a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with minors in humanities, social sciences, and business administration from Nicholls State University and a master’s in healthcare administration from LSU-Shreveport.
John Kazusky has been hired as Senior Vice President of Practice Management at the Cardiovascular Institute of the South. He joined CIS in 2012 as a practice administrator in Zachary and was later promoted to Regional Practice Administrator over the Baton Rouge area. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Nicholls State University and a master’s in business administration from LSU.
