The National Examinations Council, NECO, has released the 2021 Senior School Certificate Examination results.
According to NECO Registrar, Professor Dantani Wushishi at NECO headquarters, Minna, Niger state, 47 916 candidates registered for the examination while 45 821 wrote English Language with 78.82% having credit and above. 45 756 candidates wrote Mathematics with 78.04% having credit and above.
29,342 candidates that is 62.59% had five credits and above, including English and Mathematics. 37, 991 candidates, that is 81.04% had five credits and above irrespective of English Language and Mathematics.
He stated that there was a significant decrease in case of malpractice as 4,454 candidates were booked for malpractices against 6,465 in 2020 SSCE.
Four supervisors were also blocklisted due to poor supervision.
