Unknown assailants, on Friday, attacked the Ikolaba Police Station in Ibadan, Oyo State, killing one of the police officers on duty.
It was gathered that other officers on duty escaped the attack with bullet wounds.
It was further gathered that the gunmen ransacked the police station and made away with some ammunition.

The attack by the assailants was disclosed by the spokesperson for Oyo State Police Command, Gbenga Fadeyi.
He, however, said he was yet to get the details of the attack.
He said, “I only got the brief information this evening that the station was attacked but I am yet to get the full details.”
