Kaduna State’s Security officials refused travelers from entering the state.
It was reported on Monday, that Kaduna State Security Officials at Sabon Gida village, Ikara area of Kaduna State refused some travelers disguised to be transporting food items from coming into the State through Kiru Local Government Area.
Recall Business Influx reported that the State government had given a Quarantine Order preventing anyone from exiting nor entering into the state. It was disclosed that the travelers were turned back at the border between Kaduna and Kano.
The Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, in a statement, explained that Security agents put out to evaluate the level of compliance with travel restrictions. They, however, realized that the restriction orders are not strictly obeyed and determines to reinforce their measures.
“They abused exemption as you can see, we found dozens of people hidden and well concealed. The good thing is they have not entered Kaduna State and we will turn them back to wherever they came from.
“Similarly, we have turned back dozens of passengers, and we will sustain the tempo in compliance with the Kaduna State Government’s directives. We are having some problems with those beating security through remote areas with motorcycles but we will go back to the drawing board,” Samuel Aruwan said.
