A viral video of a Senior Commander in the Nigerian Army about poor artilleries and weak intelligence leads to his removal.
According to a Military Press release published by a platform that publishes statements for security agencies, PRNigeria, a major general, Olusegun Adeniyi, who happens to also be a commander of operation Lafia Dole, Nigeria’s counter-terrorism headquarters in Maiduguri have been removed by the Nigerian Army and pushed to the Nigerian Army Research Centre, a military faculty for strategy and innovation situated in Abuja to be a senior research fellow.
The circular that was published by PRNigeria on Monday revealed that several other top generals were requested to change roles taking effect from 1st of April. Also, while stating that the army’s redeployment was a usual pattern.
