President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday presided over the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting started with prayers rendered by Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi for the christains while the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu offered the Muslim prayer.
Before the commencement of the meeting proper, a minute silence was observed for former Secretary to the Federal Government, (SGF) Chief Ufot Ekaette, who passed on at the age of 80 and also, a minute silence was observed for former Minister of Information, Chief Alex Opeyemi Akinyele, who passed at the age of 81.
In attendance at the meeting are Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, almost all ministers, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha and National Security Adviser, Maj. Gen. Babagana Monguno (rtd).
