At least fifteen Palestinians including a top Islamic jihad commander have been killed by Israeli forces in an airstrike raid in Gaza.
The attack came as retaliation on after a group of Palestinians in Gaza launched rockets into Israel on Tuesday. In response to the attack, Israeli forces launched a series of airstrikes in Gaza.
Health officials have reported that twelve Palestinians were killed by the airstrikes. Elsewhere, a separate airstrike in Damascus killed Islamic jihad commander, Akram al-Ajouri, his son and two other persons.
Meanwhile, Jordan and Germany have condemned the attack by Israel. They also called for an end to Israel’s attacks in Gaza.
