Former Chairman of Pension Reform Task Team (PRTM), Abdulrasheed Maina appeared in a wheelchair today in the Federal High Court, Abuja for his bail hearing.
From pictures posted, the former chairman looked sickly and weak. This was after he missed his hearing on Tuesday due to the excuse that he was indisposed.
Maina was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, along sides a company known as Common Input Property and Investment Ltd On October 25, and charged with 12 counts of money laundering, operating fictitious accounts and bank fraud.
The judge of the case, Justice Abang adjourned the case until November 21 and 22 for the continuation of trial.
However, the court couldn’t attend to his bail hearing today for reasons described as “heavy workload on the court.”
Abang said: “On account of the heavy workload on this honourable court, the court shall reserve ruling on the bail application.
