The Nigerian Army has reportedly called on citizens of the country to disregard the information about Operation Positive Identification (OPI).
This was announced via a Twitter image posted by the Twitter handle of the Nigerian Army on Tuesday.
In the image, the Army wrote “Fake Alert” across the viral OPI picture that has been trending on Twitter.
The picture which had the Armed Forces logo on it advised Nigerians to carry along with them a Positive Identification from November 1st till December 23rd. During this period the presence of uniformed personnel will be felt in every part of the country.

Meanwhile, the House of Representatives has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to halt the Army from carrying out the exercise.
