Festus Keyamo, a senior advocate of Nigeria expressed his readiness to serve in any capacity within President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet after his redeployment from being the minister of state for Niger Delta to the minister of state for labour and employment was confirmed yesterday.
Two months after initial ministerial appointments, Keyamo and Tayo Alasodura were attributed different portfolios.
Alasodura, formerly the minister of state for labour and employment will now be replacing Keyamo as the minister of state for Niger Delta while the latter will be replacing the former too.
Keyamo, on the other hand, noted that the president considered changing his portfolio in spite of his versatility.
“ON THE MOVE AGAIN: TWO PORTFOLIOS IN TWO MONTHS! Just been redeployed to the Ministry of Labour and Employment to work with my long-time big brother, H.E, Chris Ngige. Thank you, Mr. President for finding me versatile enough to move around. Always ready to serve in any capacity”, he had written using his official Twitter handle.
He would be serving in assistance of Dr. Chris Ngige, the minister of labour and employment.
