Samuel Eto’o the African legend recently announced his retirement from football. The former player, had a shining career playing for some of the best teams in the world.
In his 22 year career, Samuel Eto’o won lots of laurels both individually and team base. He represented his country Cameroon at four world Cup tournaments, and is widely regarded as one of Africa’s greatest footballer of all time.
Eto’o posted on his official instagram handle “The end towards a new challenge. Thank you all, big love.” This post sparked lots of reactions from the media and sporting world, as the debate for who the best African player of all time is with some tipping the legend Eto’o himself as the best of all time.
After enjoying a wonderful youth career in kadji sports Academy, Real Madrid, Levente, Espanyol, and Mallorca . He joined Barcelona in 2004 where he won two champions League, four LA liga, two super copa, and one copa de red. From there he moved to Inter Milan, where he won his third champions League trophy under the tutelage of veteran Jose Mourinho.
